Rúben Neves is a Brazilian footballer who has played for several clubs in the world, including Al-Hilal. He was born on December 27, 1988 and began his career at Santos, where he made his debut in 2005.
After retiring from professional football, Neves became a coach and worked as a scout for Real Madrid. In 2014, he signed with FC Porto and helped them win the UEFA Champions League. After that, he joined Portuguese side, Benfica, but left after two years due to disagreements with manager Jorge Jesus.
In 2016, Neves returned to Portugal and joined FC Braga, where he spent four seasons before joining fellow Portuguese club, F.C. Braga. During his time there, he won the Primeira Liga title in 2019-2020 and the Cup of Portugal in 2019.
In 2020, Neves signed with Al-Hilal, the same team he had played for in the previous season. He scored 13 goals in his first season with the club, helping them reach the semi-finals of the league and reaching the final of the Turkish Super Lig. However, he suffered a serious injury during the 2020-2021 season and missed most of the following season.
Despite missing much of the season, Neves still managed to score 15 goals in 27 appearances for Al-Hilal. His performances were praised by many, especially his defensive skills and his ability to control the game.
Neves has been known for his strong work ethic and determination to improve himself. He is always looking for new challenges and pushing himself to be the best player he can be. Despite facing criticism for some of his decisions, Neves remains committed to playing well for his team and making a positive impact on the field.
